Question About My Telephone Service Wiring

The Big Sexy, Trav will be out of town this week, but do you want me to come by and show you the DMARC? I really don't know anything about telephones and the like, but I CAN show you where all the pretty colored wires are.

I'm thinking I know where this DMARC thingy is because I gots a lot of wires - telephony looking ones - hanging hodge-podge from my basement ceiling. I'm just not sure what to do wit dem. Maybe if I study it a little bit I'll have a better idea.

They placed a sticker on the cable modem stating if you move to another address, you'll have to tweak the modem to have 911 work properly.

Right, and since I have no immediate plans of moving it's a good idea.

I have a cell phone (I barely use it) just in case.
