The Big Sexy, Trav will be out of town this week, but do you want me to come by and show you the DMARC? I really don't know anything about telephones and the like, but I CAN show you where all the pretty colored wires are.

See, if we rip out the stuff to your second and third floors we can make art.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Sure...why not? I'm thinking I know where this DMARC thingy is because I gots a lot of wires - telephony looking ones - hanging hodge-podge from my basement ceiling. I'm just not sure what to do wit dem. Maybe if I study it a little bit I'll have a better idea.

in the event of a power outage or Time Warner Cable network failure, the ability to access Enhanced 9-1-1 services will not be available. Second, the Digital Phone Terms of Service prohibit you from moving your voice enabled cable modem to a new location.
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">A UPS for the cable modem & computer takes care of the power for short periods of time, plus I have a cell phone. They placed a sticker on the cable modem stating if you move to another address, you'll have to tweak the modem to have 911 work properly.

Right, and since I have no immediate plans of moving it's a good idea.

I have a cell phone (I barely use it) just in case.
